Night
I have a few things I put on face before going to bed
and in the morning when I have school. At night I first remove my make-up
using olive oil, back when I haven’t discovered organic products I used to rely
on my soap and toner to remove the make-up but now I know better! The key to
having a great skin is to keep it clean first. It’s a must that you remove any
make-up first before cleaning your face with soap. Not only those olive oil
removes my make-up, but it also eliminates any excess oils. I just apply it on
my face for a few minutes, not too long though because I'm worried that if it
stays too long my pores will absorb the oil as well as my make-up. So I just
massage it on my face between 1-2 minutes, and wipe it off using a damp towel. Then
I use Garnier Light Complete to finish cleaning my face. I really can’t tell if
it does what it says cause I'm not good at observing unless it’s very obvious,
but it doesn't do any harm on my skin so for now I’m using this until I can
find a better substitute. In my pursuit for an all organic skin care routine, I
tried the ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) toner. Basically you just mix equal (for
oily skin) parts water and ACV, but I guess since I’ve been using stronger
toners that it wasn’t able to prevent pimples to occur. Though I still suggest you
try it since I looked it up and it’s supposed to balance our pH level and all
that, which your skin will appreciate better instead of using harsh toners with
alcohol that can dry up your face. And finally I moisturize with oils. SML for
grape seed oil! I’m not gonna venture about this again since I already have a
post about this. I massage it on my face and add more on my pimples, I also put
some on my underarm and it somehow whitens it, and I use the castor oil for my
lashes and eyebrows, though I’m really not sure if the brows have gotten thicker or if my lashes became longer. My tip for using oils is that to apply it early,
especially if you like to put a lot of it on your face so that your pores will
have ample time to absorb it when you sleep
Day
As you can see I don’t put much on my face. After washing my
face and applying toner, I moisturiser it using this argan oil. You've probably
heard of this brand. I was first introduce by this product when I was looking
for a typical moisturiser and then this saleslady offered me this. When she
applied it on my arm it felt smooth and it’s not too oily. I only use this as
my moisturiser although it’s also great for the hair and body, BUT it’s not
cheap for a 30 mL bottle. Though she said that it’s good for 2 months and a
little goes a long way. I let it absorb first before I use my BB stick. Now I
don’t apply a primer or concealer cause the bb stick “can” do that and “more”.
TBH I don’t like this product, it doesn't last long on my face, doesn’t conceal
much and can be easily removed. I'm just using this cause I'm very lazy and I don’t
like to put much make up on my face since I'm only going to school. Then, when I
feel like my face looks oily, I apply Nichido's loose powder. Now the next
important thing I put is eyebrows. I don’t know why I didn't do this before. I wouldn't
say my eyebrows are thin but my definition of a beautiful eyebrows are medium- thick
and clean. I really don’t go out without doing this. I love Maybeline’s eyebrow
crayon in brown. I prefer my eyebrows to remain the same colour and this is why I
love Maybeline’s. Although the downside of using a pencil is that some strands
fall when I put too much pressure when i draw on my brows. My eyebrows are fragile that way. My mascara
is also by Maybeline, the one for thicker lashes. And lastly my lip balm is my
DIY project using a crayon and some petroleum jelly, though I vary from that
and my other lipsticks.
